General Race Rules

  1. Stay on the marked race course at all times
  2. All runners must wear their official race number visible on the front at all times
  3. Emergency pit stops on the course should be made several feet off the trail
  4. Littering is prohibited. Leave no trace!
  5. As much as we embrace our ‘Sasquatch Motif’… This is not a costume race 😉
  6. Runners must check in at the ‘exchange zone’ (start/finish) BEFORE they or their next relay teammate begins another loop
  7. No crew, pacers, unofficial runners, or spectators allowed on the trail
  8. Medical staff and race directors reserve the right to pull a runner or team from the course in the event of rule-breaking or to preserve runner safety.
  9. Cutoff times are intended to be adequately generous (for some, it is simply a fast walking pace) Cutoffs will be enforced.


General Spectator/Finish Area Rules

  1. This is a FAMILY-FRIENDLY, drug-free event
  2. No smoking allowed at camping area or start/finish
  3. Absolutely NO CAMPFIRES except in designated rings
  4. RVs are not allowed at the start/finish  (see nearby RV options under LODGING tab)
  5. Please use designated bathrooms at the start/finish area
  6. Dogs are allowed under the following conditions:
    1. Well-behaved, friendly dogs only please
    2. Kept on a leash at all times
    3. Kept away from aid station, finish-line food, and exchange zone
    4. Dogs are not allowed on the race-course
    5. Owners clean up messes 

7. Parking is allowed ½ mile from the start/finish, in the indicated parking area on Pioneer Road.  ALL RUNNERS AND SPECTATORS WILL WALK FROM THE PARKING AREA TO THE START/FINISH (easy 1/2 mile walk along a dirt road) 

8.  A shuttle vehicle will be on site to transport coolers or large bags for runners on Friday from 4-8pm.


There are no refunds: Rollovers for the following year will be allowed until July 6th, 2020.

NO ROLLOVERS will be allowed after July 6th. Rollovers are non-transferable, and are only good for the next year’s race. There are 2 ways to complete the rollover option on your own: 1. You can cancel your registration via your ultrasignup history on UltraSignup 2. You can select the ‘Edit’ link on your registration receipt from UltraSignup. Once you have ‘cancelled’ your registration, the rollover will be applied and 100% of your entry fee (minus UltraSignup fees) will be applied when you register for the 2021 race. (essentially, the rollover acts like a coupon for your account. When you register for the following year’s race, you will see the coupon code apply automatically when you check out)

Bib Transfers

Promotions & Discounts


  • Bib Transfers are not allowed.  Team captains have management capability to switch out team members.
  • Promos and discounts are valid for one-time use only, and are only eligible for future registrations.
  • The size you sign up for is the size you get. If extras are available after the race is over, you may exchange your shirt size. Shirt choices are either unisex or women’s cut.
